IMG_2731.JPG Every time I see a picture of this guitar there is half a sticker on the pickguard. I was wondering what it is or what is printed on it?

I like a naturally aged guitar, but that one looks like it needs disinfectant and maybe a squirt or two of Fabreeze.

Easy swap. Into the case pocket it goes.

I'll admit I spent way too much time when it was released trying to figure out exactly what that sticker was. Ended up with two ideas that are probably both wrong.

Remnants of the sticker on the pickguard when it was given to him, not ever removed properly.

The pickguard is painted metal and he wore the paint off in that spot.

Either way I don't think it adds anything to that guitar and is a bit wtf. Also, looks like it needs a bath. Now I've spent even more time on it....

The pick guard has a discolouration in the "Beauty of the Burst" pics, but it looks nothing like that. Original on the right.

The Original is in his right hand or on the LEFT looking at the photo.

Geez, they didn't even replicate the authentic dented PU cover, although they nailed the nasty, homeless vibe pretty well.

Imho that is the dummy sticker that they forgot to remove to create the final effect.

This guitar looks dirty and the kind of thing you have to explain to people why you bought it and why "Its cool"

This guitar just looks like a piece of crap. Regardless of the boring top. The only thing that gives it character, is that it looks like it was pulled from the sewer.

The ding in the neck pup must have been more recent because it's not any other pic that I have seen.

I think it's a pretty cool guitar. Probably the coolest project Gibson CS has done in a long long time. The aging is next level for Gibson.

Slash used it on four songs last night at the Forum in LA. It was a marathon 3:55 min show.

I can tell you that it is actually a killer guitar. The pickups are OUTSTANDING, the neck has a very nice profile, and it's got a great feel. They did a nice job on it.

100%. The neck profile is similar to the Shanks but it feels even better to me because the finish is noticeably thinner. Pickups are the best Gibson CS pups I’ve heard.

I played one four weeks ago, and it was a nice guitar to play. It just looks crappy.

Gotcha. Different strokes I guess. I think the best looking one's were "Goldie" and "Pearly Gates", but this one looked cool to me in it's own way. I could see where it might not be for some though.
