Nice looking guitar...but it should be called the Green Burst...not named after the bloomin' collector! :wtf:

Yet another gimmick. "most historically accurate ‘59 burst model so far, thereby giving players and collectors the ‘real deal’" Really? Again? Boy I can't wait till Gibson can actually copy their own guitar accurately.

That probably actually means "highest msrp ever for a reissue".

Rumor on the street is both Green & Moore may have denied Gibson permission to use their names. So Henry just went along with the name of it's current owner. [IMG]

I thought Phil Winfield is the current owner:hmm:
Do they make a Murphy, without signed and aged?? With cracked headstock??

Is the correct answer - gibson have been after greeny for a rep of this for years, I guess they got bored with asking..

And as a result they dont have to pay Peter or Moore any royalties...

Melvyn fucking Franks? This is an absolute disgrace for Gibson and the guitar. Excuse the language but this is too much

the Jimmy Page #2 has supposedly been repaired at both ends of the neck. the only thing they did was make the heel a darker color. i would not expect anything different with this guitar.

Corksniffer signature Gibbies? Honestly, that's probably more appropriate than "artist" signatures. ;)
