Hahaha sorry Hector!
On another note, that movie might just be my favorite of all time. The sequel sucked. It had all of the grotesque humor (which I like) with none of the innocence and charm of the first film. The first film was lightning in a bottle, for me. It had a great storyline. Also one of the best soundtracks ever IMO.
Jim Carrey is one of my favourite actors, truly a comedy genius that Hollywood turned into a caricature.
So, in other news, not pedal-related, yesterday I ordered my X-Mas gift (a bitchin' guitar - in transit now) and on the evening I got a call, so today I managed to sell my cheap Strat (which was in the local adds for quite some time).
... And I believe you have some fuzz on the way too?
Oh, there is that, too!
Just saying hi.
Hi! Good to see you.
I now remember what Christmas as a kid was like.
I just made a deal for a KoT that im picking up tomorrow....
Im not gonna sleep tonight lol
I had to tell someone, for some reason my wife just doesnt understand my excitement.
Yup, that's why this thread exists
I knew you guys would understand
I have it!
Time to start fiddling with it. Report to follow....
But now i seriously need to stop for a while, in the last 3 months I've traded my voodoo labs power supplies for a Zuma then bought a Timeline, Ep Booster, Exotic Wah and the KoT.
So much win yet so much butt hurt in the wallet.
I say this as I'm checking out a Bigsky and a Disaster Area switcher. I have a problem, i blame you guys.
Headed up to Chicago Music Exchange in the morning...
I will, of course, report back afterwards.
I've been a bad boy.
Traded some stuff for this baby.
Now thats a big ass pedal. Hows that gonna fit on your board?
Gonna have to upgrade to a bigger board.
Hey, it was for a good cause: it was for THERAPY! Congrats, boy! What flavour of an amp is it...? British, Fendery, Voxy?
Think Low Powered Tweed Twin. It's a very warm fat sounding amp, a distinct departure from my bright blackface/silverface amps. When it gets its own gain, it's very thick and has an almost JTM45 thing going on.
It's running off of two 6L6s, which have long been my favorite tube type.
