No one here is gonna talk you out of any potentially ruinous financial transaction. Our general motto is 'buy first, regret later'

Yep, I started out with a trusty GT-8 too - excellent piece of gear to begin the journey! Just shop away and try stuff out, it's really the only way to explore where your tastes lie. I've gone from 11-12 pedals on a biiig board to a medium one now.

Ive got a deal on a strymon timeline from kijiji. Now if the guy will actually let me pick it up instead of canceling on me I'd have a real NPD thread.
As Tom Petty said the waiting is the hardest part.:hyper:

I only just bought a Guv'nor GV-2 and now I'm waiting for my TC Electronics T2 reverb to ship. This G.A.S. is awful, I tell you whut.

Well I just got a new pedal and have two on the way to me...saving just enough to get the Friedman Dirty Shirley pedal next month when it comes out.

I got an M9 for 250 new opposed to 399. I couldn't pass it up. Really digging it so far.

Then, I ordered a Rockett Majestic and a Rockett Rockaway Archer. I love their stuff.

My next pedals will be H9, Rockett GTO, etc.

Remember to speak to me before you buy an H9 - you will only need the Core

I know. I do love the sounds of it. I was also looking at their boost pedal.

Played the Rockaway Archer and Majestic tonight.

Lemme say this - Rockett has the dirt pedal game WON.... They offer a multitide of choices for a multitude of tones and IMO, the way the voice their drives is probably about as authentic to an amp of anyone.

They really are the company I'm most excited about for the future, and where I see the majority of my dirt pedal funds going.

The Rockaway I think is probably the "smartest" dirt pedal design ever. I think the way they pulled that off is amazing and it probably is the pedal for me that makes everything sound better. I love pushing drives with it, or just using it to shape some tone going into my drives, and using my BOSS EQ for boostage.

The Majestic is actually not too far off from the .45 Caliber. My takeaway is this: I think you can make the Majestic sound very close to the .45 but I don't think you can make the .45 sound as close to the Majestic. if you can only have one, get the Majestic. Me, I'm using both on the board now but I will likely put the Dude back on and use the Majestic and the Dude together. I just had the .45 on there for comparison though for now they are set to sound as different as possible. The Majestic is very very fat 70s rock into a Marshall kind of tone. The .45 has a bit more presence and a bit more snap, but it's hard to get the fatter thing out of the .45, though you can brighten the Majestic up to be fairly on point with the .45. .45 has more kerrang at all settings. Majestic has the kerrang when the treble is boosted, but can get smokey and dark.
