The pitch stuff in the H9 is amazingly good. The Helix had better be spectacular to replace it!

Didn't realize it was EQD day! I like their stuff, I think they have to be one of the more creative pedal companies but some of their stuff just doesn't fit with the mainstream straight ahead unexperimental stuff I play. And then you have something like the Afterneath where the spacey verb is the perfect thing for a pop country song. I can imagine being in a prog band and going nuts with their stuff. Some of it is so far out there but in the right environment, is pure magic.

    So talking about NAMM releases,

JHS FINALLY updated their dual ODs.

I've been wanting to try one but I knew they still were going to update them with new versions.

I'm leaning towards a Sweet Tea, just because I like Marshally tones and Tubescreamers, but I'm not ruling out a Double Barrel, which is the Tubescreamer thing plus the Bluesbreaker thing.

I've ALWAYS been on the search for a dual overdrive where I don't want to take 6 ODs to a gig or can't for some reason, but get all the tones as close as possible and take a grab and go pedal that does what I need. I think this might finally do it. I've been on the look for a grab and go versatile dual OD that is still analog and not modeled dirt (like the Brothers or Riverside or Sunset).

I'm also wanting an H9 and an M9 (yes both, but that's just me man...). Also dig what I hear of the JHS Pink Panther, Walrus Audio ARP-87, and Wampler Ethereal. Looking for more cool FX.

I like how you're branching out Austin! Just note that the Brothers is entirely analog boost/od/fuzz, the only thing not analog is the control mechanisms.

    Thanks for letting me know.

I'm still not onboard though at this point with "every OD in one box". Kinda takes the fun away. :D I would like two versatile ODs in one box that cover as much as possible without being too generic. Which is why I would like to try the new JHS Sweet Tea. I gotta have a Marshall tone in there somewhere, and a nice TS-y pedal. Just have yet to find the right dual overdrive for my tastes. I'll still be using the big board 90 percent of the time but there are small space gigs and just jams where I'd like to pack maybe two pedals and try to cover everything. I could use a delay box and a dual overdrive/distortion and cover most of what I need. I'm always looking for the perfect grab and go box for dirt. The Timeline for me is the do it all delay pedal, but it's been hard for me to find the perfect do it all OD pedal that isn't a jack of all trades master of none generic mess. :p

Haven't changed my board in a while. I replaced my Vertigo trem with the Mercury Flanger just for this past weekend but the Vertigo will go back on.

I've been digging it but have dreams of simplifying and/or having less money invested in gear. Definitely leaning toward a Kemper. I got a chance to borrow one recently and profiled my own amp and couldn't tell the difference haha. Crazy.

Here's a quick clip I made of my profile. All effects are Kemper as well...

And here is some video of my recent tones. Stereo with the Nemesis and Neunaber is amazing.

Don't click if you don't want to hear some P&W.

Well for the first time in forever I don't have a Nobels ODR-1 and Ibanez MT-10 Mostortion on my board.

I just decided to try something different as I've used both for a LOOOONG time. They will definitely be back but I'm just seeing how I bode without them for a week or so.
