I had one a while back and loved it. The grit knob is ok, but I tended not to use it in favour of other dirt. They do a germanium version as well which might be worth looking at.

For similar money I would also have a look at the mad Prof forest green

Hi fella's so I just picked up the new MXR il Torino overdrive $69.00 sweetwater. Wow what a pedal really organic and dynamic. Can be used as a boost or overdrive, killer tone.
They really did a great job, at that price the sickness took over me !!! It has a tone all its own but one could say it definitely sounds boutique.

    more later.......

    I want it...[IMG]

I'm building a secondary board for my Bassbreaker 18/30 which has too much headroom haha.

So far I have: A TC Nova System for all the time based effects, and reverb, a Dunlop volume pedal that I need to replace the pot, and then I think this plus a polytune mini would finish it off nicely.

Which version of the Liquid Lead do you have? From what I've seen, some of a 3 knob EQ...

It is a 5 knob version, more tone controls. The ZII has the filter that adds treble to the right, bass to the left. Takes some getting used to. The LL is a lot easier to dial in, but makes essentially the same tones...which strikes me as odd as I understood the LL to be a plexi type pedal, and the ZII /Lemon Drop a Vox 4/7 pedal...
But...the cool knobs on the ZII go to eleven...so it is louder than the LL. :naughty:

Also, bonus: I just uploaded that pic to a host and got the URL from my phone. A bit of a pain but glad it's possible.

I saw Bjorn demoing the new Buffalo FX M-1 on YT yesterday. Wow. Seems to be able to do a lot more than fuzz. Love some of that od tone near the beginning too.

That M 1 fuzz sounded great.

I decided to sell an expensive guitar and get some pedals.

    Here is my list:

    Xotic Stereo X Blender
    Eventide H9 (yes another one)
    Black Cat OD Fuzz Hybrid.
    Dunlop DVP4 mini (for expression)
    WMD pedals Protostar
    Pigtronix Infinity Looper

    and also (not a peda):
Jomox Moonwind (instead of a Moog Midi Murf).

Also a Voodoo Labs ISO5, more cables and two 10" Celstion Gold speaker.

... that is the idea but it is an expensive idea. If I get the same amount I payed for the guitar, I will have to come up with a little more money ...

... if any one has any ideas please feel free to share ...

The Moog Midi Murf sounding too static to me but the Joemox Moodwind is over kill.
