    Anyone have any insight? Guy has the three single coil model for sale locally. I can get it for 100 bucks. Claims it is like new.

    They are righteous. And if it happens to be a Cropper model, holler back at me loudly and you may profit handsomely.

    Its not..... its an exp .. much cheaper model. Still well worth 100 bucks...I guess

    Reactor model is killer if you ever find one cheap.

    I got excited with the thread title, hoping this was a Generation Series 1.

    I had one of those. It was great.

    Yeah... I have seen em. Getting more into tele style guitars. Shoulda kept my mim... I wish this had a maple board

    The "exp" means it was made overseas and is (for lack of a better description) like their Squire line of guitars.

    I'm sure it's worth what you paid for it. Most used PVs are worth way more than what people pay. Set it up right and I'm sure you'll get years and years of fantastic use out of it.

    I had one of the EXPs. Sold it to a buddy for $100
    Not a bad guitar

    one on the local CL right now.. 170 before I try to talk him down BUT hour and 20 mins away

    If good shape I'd do it.

    They're one of those under the radar instruments that people in the know go after.

    MIA Tele without the Fender pricetag.

    Played a couple of them against a bunch of Fenders at Elderly Instrument in Lansing MI many years ago and I liked the Peaveys better.

    Was in a luthier shop last year and he always has a few dozen used instruments for sale. One was a Reactor.

    Had it for about $160.

    Wasn't in the market and told him he had it priced too low. Somebody knew the deal because it was gone my next time in.
