    Custom order being placed,

Measuring on the high side of - low output zebra for the neck just because of the Alnico II. Mmmm, creamy!!

Measuring on the medium to high side of (8.2k or >) - high output zebra for the bridge.

I have AIV's in the target guitar already, and I think this will set it off as I would like a bit hotter bridge and smoother neck. By the way it is a LP Double Cut Standard Plus, so it has 24 frets with only two controls. That’s the reason for the spread on the bridge and neck. Yet in this range it should still retain a vintage character. Think?

Oh, I'll need aged too, as she's got a bit of road wear. Can you do gold screws??? She has AGED gold hardware!!!

One more Q, what's the carbon content do? I expect lower the content to be brighter. Is that right? May want to play with that one on the order too!!! …if possible, humbly.

You can call the custom order the brownie points if you like. I just liked guessing when I knew the right answer. :slash:

Count on the order, so let me know when to bring it, $$$!!

You're my first request for gold screws. I guess I'll have to order some! Gold screws are PAF-accurate so, I'm game.

I can do a mixed low/medium set for you. Don't worry about trying to figure out what alloys you want though, they all have slightly different characteristics, but the way I use them is to match and compliment the sonic qualities of the coils, you probably want to stick with what I default to in that regard. In fact, I don't think I'd let a set out the door otherwise. Things don't always sound right when I stray from my proven formulas, so I like to really stick to those, which I think cover a good range from ground.

Lightly aged, I can do also. There's a modest up-charge for that, as it's a major time sucker, but nothing unreasonable.

When the new batch is ready, I'll have pricing for everything sorted out and will fully honor your "brownie points" coupon! :D

Man, I was really worried that the "long legs" wouldn't fit in a PRS. I'm so glad that you got 'em in ok! :applause: Did you have any trouble with that?

Super late to this party. However, I thought I would give my thoughts...

Low output for my LP, and medium output for my SG. I don't know why. It is what it is.... Josh

Thanks! The contest is over, but I don't see any reason to end the poll. It's a great source of information.

    You didn't have mine, low-output nickel-silver cover. So I didn't vote.

I had low output listed. Covers were not relevant to this poll. Every pickup has bobbins of some color under the cover. :D

Thanks for participating though! I always welcome ALL input.

So, even if you won a free set of low output pickups, you would not be willing to buy covers for yourself had cooluk not provided them?

That is like turning down a free hamburger because the Coke was not included!
