Damn Amazon. I got this Chinese made Mooer Orange 90 phaser from them 3 months ago. Its awesome with great dynamic range and warmth.Analog.Assembled and shipped by Mrs Liang,Hunan province China.Genius is making these...so i bought the Ensemble King Chorus, just now.Once again the delivery dates are...boat speed.Made in china like my Orange 90 phaser...handmade...delivery Sept 25 to October 17. This is good,i think. Mrs Liang, or one of her other specialists, will hand assemble this sweet piece in their own good time...like the last one.Awesome price. I await god-tone.Just sayin. If you have not checked out one of their great sounding pedals...you owe it to yourself...
funny thing, i was checking my power supply...to see if i have enough juice...the chorus only draws 9ma. Their Phaser even less...5ma. Kinda cool...
Is that the Trellacopter? I have one, cheap, cheerful and compact, to me it sounds great but I'm not much of an expert on trem pedals. . I also have the 5 band eq and their mini wah. I'm all about saving space...
They offer decent facsimile of popular pedals. My greenmile and blues mood are holding up just fine, i recommend trying them out.
yeah!...i was waxing a little over the top.. Given their very long delivery times,(8 weeks last pedal, orange 90), i was contemplating a very slow, hand assembly process, lol,...last package was clearly directly shipped from an address, in the heart of Hunan province, china, according to the ePacket/ China Post shipping label. With her name on it, Mrs. Liang. not Mooer. I haven't opened one up, so have no idea of the internal construction quality. The exterior is quite fine, and has industry standard switches. It has the appearance of being a small shop assembly...rather than the big company feel you get from the big boys(like Boss,Ibanez,etc..) ..idk. Haven't even owned my first that long to justify any kind of quality remark, but it's a very nice sounding first pedal. It does something i find is the most important thing,to these ears, it sounds musical. No annoying frequencies or harmonics.Fat warm, clear, no shrill, nothing imposed, actually understated,in a way. Many pedals i've had over the years, even from the bigwigs, have failed that ear test, for me. And i have not put it through its paces, loud, so i can't say there. I tend to play more quietly these days...looking forward to the full volume test. That would have to be with a full band. i made that decision based on the internet samples, which is a first for me...but they were accurate...The internet samples of the chorus sound impressive,so, a leap of faith based on the my first experience with the very nice sounding orange 90.
If you like saving space, another line to consider in addition to Mooer is the Joyo Ironman. I have the auto-wah, flanger and acoustic sim. I luv all three, the flanger and wah were settled on after a search. Both proved to be my favourite over some serious contenders. The sim pedal was just the result of a pleasant mistake as I was shipped this instead the wah. Made for a serendipitous moment and I'm glad for it.
Yeah it's the Trelicopter. I tried like 5-6 tremolos before taking a chance on it, very happy I did! It has a good bias-style tremolo vibe that I like.
