    ...this was an Epiphone LP which suffered a bad neck break, so I felt it was appropriate to do some modding.

    New headstock scarfed on.
    All contols blanked, apart from a single Volume.
    Neck pickup cavity filled.
    Body routed for a Jag/JM-style vibrato.

    What you see here is a trial assembly prior to final finishing woodwork-wise - it actually feels and plays great. The vibrato is very stable, but just to improve things further, a roller bridge is on order.

    The jury is out re. paint - I'm maybe thinking a Fender color at the moment, although a metal flake finish (orange) might be cool.

    If you're referring to painting the body.... please don't. That is a nice top.

    A seafoam headstock with the burst finish would be unique.

    Jag style vibrato... it has to be painted surf green, what else?

    I don't think he's given himself much of a choice but to lose it.

    Re-veneer the top, paint the guitar a solid colour or bust.
