I like the tone. Signal chain?
Are you plugged straight into the amp? That thing sounds great. I was looking into them at one point but I was worried they wouldn't be loud enough.
Rhythm acoustic: Cordoba Acero D10 mic'd with a CAD GXL 2200 Condenser into a Scarlett 2i2
Lead acoustic: same as above with a sprinkling of reverb added in Ableton
Lead Electric: Squier Strat through mic'd (CAD again) Monoprice 15 Watt. Little reverb and delay added in Ableton.
not loud enough .... the volume was on 9 o'clock ! not dimed at all, but you hear sound of guitar directly through shure sm57 in the mix, sound is untouched by eq, as it is.
yes, i boost it a little with pedal for solo part, tad of echo pedal too
First ever attempt at slide...
Listen to First Slide by DotStudio #np on #SoundCloud
I'll check this out. My first attempt at that sounded like a cat swung around by its tail
Ha, it's just a sprinkling. I cut off the part where things started to get out of hand. I need to work on my control and isolating the strings.
Sorry Boys and Girls, I've been out of this loop a bit lately.
Nonsense; it AIN'T crappy playing. I enjoyed it
I think this is the one that was taken down?
No such thing as "enough 70s and 80s rock..."
I really dig your diversity in style, Frank
DAMN, in addition to a love of old school hard/heavy rock, we also both have an appreciation for the funky groove. Tommy Bolin got me in to that stuff. Well done yet again, Brother
Oh heck yeah! I like, I like
Whatever you do, do not add oil to that rust . I liked it a lot. My Carr Mercury has KT66s; I'm a fan
Mmmm mmmmm God
I really liked it. Sheesh, I don't even own an acoustic All overdrive all the time for me
Thank you, Mouse. It is a mutual admiration society, for sure.
DAMN, Brother, how in the HECK did I miss this????? Really fine playing, and I beg your pardon
Thank you, double oh.
Most of it sounds like I was on quaaludes when I was playing it.
Mikey, that was some great playing!!!
Thank you, Mark.
Thank you Frank, i'm happy to bring back your memories
A little more blues for you Mouse.. 1989 Fender Strat on a clean (Stock) Dumble ODS 100 preset.
Very tasty, Frank.
Thank you M... much appreciated.
Frank, from a guy that is "over" the blues......
Dayum tasty, my brother!!
OK. I confess. I have been paying all these guys for saying such nice things about my clips.
Check is in the mail.
