but why is the gold turning to green in the common area....will imitations do this or am i wrong this is a not a fake...can you fake the greening?

i am also curious if people frown upon posting listings like these because if this were real, they want the least amount of people knowing its available

Haven't got time to see if it's 2000.00 or 350.00, so I'll go with 350.00 is curious.

i was going to refrain from posting it thinking i could steal it but i dont think i am going to take that chance even for $350...i just hope someone doesnt get burned

the seller says he doesnt have time for it and says he doesnt know if its fake or real...i think he knows its a turd

i would do a bit of simple research to see if i have a gold mine or a turd...looks like a home relic job someone did with a baseball bat

would like to know if you can fake the greening of any gold finish

hey i could be wrong on this but i am just trying to learn all the fine points

Look at the binding on the edge of the headstock in the pic that GitFiddle posted above. Now look at the edge binding on the headstock of the Ebay guitar.

    Not. The. Same.

    Fake.

i sure a real gibson project guitar and a non gibson project guitar will have a significant difference in value...

....trying to learn how to spot the differences and will be casting my vote as a fake....

if not i would have kept the auction to myself and tried to steal it for pennies

i think i will be saving my pennies..:)
