I'm going as long as I can get a room. No traveling back and forth this time. I'd rather just stay the weekend.
The hotel has a nice restaurant... We should all go get a bite!
Me too My wife came on Saturday & found one of the worlds biggest malls is just around the corner so she is up for coming back.
Sounds good. Maybe a few drinks after?
I'll buy first round.
Could get interesting.
Nice pictures guys
I'll buy 2nd, 4th. and 6th!!!!
Don't think that Gibson makes any guitars that the kids today are interested in?
I think they do...and always did.
Recorded at the 2010 Summer Philly Guitar Show.

I know, I know- we're two idiots, but ain't this supposed to be what it's all about? Artie, you have captured a Yeti and an Liliputian on tape- I thought we were extinct....
I had to Google Liliputian !
Thanks for posting the picture of me and my LP! (My wife just looked at it and she says I am such a dork!) I am still looking for more info on the guitar. I went in the hospital for 9 days right after the Philly show (I got staff infection in my T8 from an epidural!) and forgot that you told me to take out the rhythm pickup. I am going to be removing it tonight and get back to you to what lies beneath.
That is a pretty top on that thing, Ralph. Stunning really. I peeked while the boys were inspecting it. That's the left corner of my face behind your hand!
Sorry to hear of your back trouble, Ralph. I Hope your feeling better.
I'm glad you checked in. Not only the Neck pickup, but both pickup cavities
should have information about your guitar. These are typical of pickup cavities
on early 1990's Les Pauls.
Well I pulled both pickups on the guitar and now I am even more perplexed because there is nothing in either pickup cavity to tell me anything about it! The only answer that I have is that both pickups are PAF's--As you can see by the pictures. This guitar always sounded amazing through my amp, better than any LP that I own, now I know why--It's the pickups!
Where do you suggest that I go next to find out more about my LP??
can we see inside the back cavity Please ?
I believe the pickups are 57 Classics, which also feature that sticker.
