    thanks for that...

were they just for display for a possible customer to add hardware at additional cost or did they have a price on em as a husk?

    they were on Lays table?

Those were specifically available to purchase as husks, at a price of $12K each. They were both quite nice, but one of them I liked more than the other. I’ll go back and look closely at the pics to see if I can tell which one. Or, you could contact them directly for more pics of each, if you’re still interested.

Edit: I’m pretty sure it was the one on the left that I liked better, but I can’t be certain.

Nah, it gets the point across. It's incredible and very unique, love it x10. I gotta talk to you about it on the phone.

There were a couple of completed Jr./Std. conversions (including parts) that I liked better than either of the husks, and I was almost tempted to ask if they'd be willing to strip one of these of its parts and sell just the husk. If you go there, and you see one of the completed guitars you like, it might be worth at least asking about them stripping it down for you.

Thanks, Steve! I've always valued your opinion when it comes to these types of guitars. Feel free to call me when you get a chance.

Dan at Lay's is very easy to work with. I bought one at the show last year and am very happy with the guitar!

Matt, thanks for installing the harness at the show! You do great work. I am very happy with the results. The change made that guitar sound much better (less muddy) when the volume controls are low! It was great to meet you also!
