This one better, Kris?
Cool guitar! Congrats
Do we have a thread with pics of vintage single cut specials? Love the checking. Need more pics
This is just perfect. I love a heavily checked original finish.
I need to find a single cut Special that's been rode hard...one that will match up with my Juniors.
Wow. At a loss for words. That is a living work of art. Congrats.
so much vibe and mojo! beautiful!
This was at Detroit Guitars?!? I live about 3 miles away. Lucky for my bank account, you found it before me! Absolutely killer guitar. Drooling over that checking.
I have to ask. what is that thing next to the firebird? one of those mini les pauls?
Ha! It does look a little weird if you don't know that it's oriented differently than the FB. It's my '61 LP/SG, just oriented more horizontally.
Looks great but I think that bridge needs a little more ageing to fit in!
Fuck that is beautiful man!
Absolutely brilliant. If this one is not a keeper, what is? I hope you will enjoy it for a long, very long time.
I just wish there were some left-handed ... but it's just a wish.
Congrats and HNGD! I hope you will enjoy it for a long, very long time.
WOW...THAT IS KILLER
Looks like a winner .
These are the original studs for this guitar, but I would try Vintage Relic.
He will custom age things for you, even to the point of the nickel plating being completely worn off like these are. I had him do some P-90 fillister screws that way for me to match the patina of a different guitar.
Here's My '56......Absolutely KILLER!
