Well, Jon sort of outed me (or more accurately, I felt like I had to out myself) in another thread, but I suppose I'll make it official. I got this '57 TV Special from Detroit Guitar a few weeks back. I had a refinished '58 a couple of years ago that was nice as well, but I've grown into a real sucker for original finish. I sold the '58 to another forum member and have sort of been keeping an eye out ever since. It's mostly straight, but did have Schaller tuners installed on it quite some time ago. I put the original tuners back on, but the tell-tale holes remain. It also had a modern repro wraparound bridge, so I got a specially heavy-aged compensated one from MojoAxe (thanks, Dan), which is working nicely in terms of intonation. It's also been refretted at some point and they fretboard planed on the upper frets. I'm really loving the sound of this guitar. The neck P-90 might be my favorite that I've played. I just got it back from having a new nut installed on Friday and took some time yesterday to take some pics. Enjoy! Script just barely still visible...
