Hi guys Got this Pedal on Thursday... I can't tell how I am happy with it I was planning to get a Carbon Copy analog delay but when I knew that maximum delay there is around half a second.. I decided to go for something more versatile and this pedal just does the job Single pedal having multiple delay types, looper, and the amazing TonePrint feature For lazy un-creative guys like me, the TonePrint is really kind of a dream. Install the app, search for an artist's delay that you like and just beam it to the pedal through the guitar pickup.. BOOM.. it is done.
I have been thinking about this pedal for too long a period of time. Did you buy the power supply or do you run it via the amp's loop (providing it has a loop)? I have the TC HOF reverb, which fits in perfect for my style. You are correct. The tone print feature is a snap to use. Classicplayer
I use my existing power supply to run it and yes I put it in the amp fx loop... but are the two things related?
Not related, but it looks like you use something similar to what I have: a One-Spot basic supply. Classicplayer
Yeah.. my rig is so simple now... Guitar > Wah > Pre-amp > Delay > Power Amp I am looking for a good passive volume pedal to put it between the pre-amp and the delay and that's it !
I think I'll spring for it. I've read the reviews on the top 5 delay pedals out on the market and seems by the specs and reviews to be as good as any of those. I use delay sparingly, so I cannot justify the cost/value factor being worth it for me to getting a more expensive delay. I plan on running it into the loop on my Micro Dark into a PPC112. I've had mine since ca 6 months after release. Fantastic pedal and with the Toneprint feature, incredible value. Slightly curious about v2 but not enough to switch out Old Faithful
you made the right choice. My Carbon Copy sits on a shelf and watches while the Flashback has a permanent spot on my board and is always on...
I like the Flashback so much that I have a Triple Delay on my board, which is practically 3 of them in a row (or... parallel). Amazing sounds to be had. The Carbon Copy is righteous in it's simplicity as well, I use one on board No. 2. Congrats OP!
Just found out this morning that Sweetwater marked down significantly, the Flashback and Hall Of Fame pedals. I can handle those prices. I have the HOF and perhaps now the FB. Classicplayer
I had a Flashback. It's a great delay, simple to use and, you're right, the Toneprint is so easy to use. Just beam it from the phone and you're set! I couldn't quite bond with the strum tempo, though, so I traded mine in towards my current delay. If it had a tap function or tap input, I'd still have it.
I have the mini, and I love it... I can't bring myself to get rid of it, even with the helix. it just does everything well... I might be one of the few that love the strum tempo... to me it's very natural... I just start playing the rhythm and hold the button down...
Mine is currently helping me re-record sounds and muck up my synth lines: https://www.instagram.com/p/BYzJ_UaDcdd/
I dig them both the Flashback and the Carbon Copy. The CC I feel has an attractive warmer/darker tone. The Flashback gives you a number of cool tones and options.
I think you'll like it for the variety of tones it has. Getting familiar with the tone print function is recommended by me. There is a selection of "prints" available with the TC app for that feature. I've sampled a few and I use those a lot. They are easy to download to your HOF pedal. Classicplayer
