I wonder what are people who post those kind of ads thinking.
I go through all local ads every day and some of the stuff I see is just ridiculous, I especially like the detailed descriptions some people give like "guitar for sale" or my personal favourite "guitar for sale, made of wood, steel strings"
Wow. That's pretty silly.
Thinning the herd
Plays like butter
Better than any Gibson I've played

THAT IS CRAZY!!!!
Not the body-gouging... that's just a "finish choice". Whoever mounted those tuners needs a slapping.
Modified by "previous owner..."
Shame, but probably a nice guitar. Judging by the harmonica bridge and the headstock I'm guessing Norlin era. If you could get it cheap and take it to someone for a refin it might be worth the effort. I hate seeing old Gibsons getting abused like that!
It's the pocket-knife version of this. You just know that's where the inspiration came from.
Probably started with an accidental huge gouge or scratch, and the owner decided to do a prison-tattoo-artist rendition of a "cover-up".
I like the tuners.
Looks like it was "routed" for a Jazz bass pickup, or one or the big black pickups that Alembic basses used.
Is that Freddy Kruegers guitar? Lol!
God damn shame to happen to a '73 SG Special..
Description is even more wack.
There are some truly stupid people that own guitars..
They forgot the first "D" in the last word....
