I just replaced my orange drop capacitors with Stewmac golden age treble bleed capacitors.
The sweep on both volumes on my Les Paul are amazing now compared to the old capacitors, but both tone knobs don't work.

I am new with the soldering iron, and the only mistake I can see I made was to burn the plastic coating of the white wire going to a pot. Oh, and I gave my self a nice burnt thumb.
It is a very small burn, I can see the bare wire, but the wire is intact. Also the white wire only goes to one pot, so I can't see that being the problem.

    Any ideas?

Pix of your install would help. Did you replace the old tone capacitors with the treble bleed setup? If so, that's incorrect. The treble bleed gets wired onto the volume pots and the previous tone caps remain.
