I figured this might be the best place to ask this.

I recently acquired a pair of 1960 double black PAFs which I am going to put into a '55 LP Junior already routed for humbuckers. Obviously, I've got double-whites in this now; these aren't the pickups, just showing off the guitar.

One of the PAFs has lost its sticker. What's the consensus on replacing the stickers? Does it matter or affect the value? Ultimately, I'm going just play the shit out of them.

Congrats on your PAF score.

If you try to sell a legit PAF, half the people will yell, "fake!"

If you try to sell a legit PAF with a fake sticker on it, all the people will yell, "fake!"

...and if you're putting them in a guitar to play.... well, what's the point? I say just let them be what they are.

    Thanks!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking with regard to the stickers, I just figured I'd ask.

I have another guitar with short spaced PAFs, a '58 Byrdland/ES-350T. I love it, but these were a great price and it would have been dumb of me to pass them up.
