Just happened to be there when this came walking thru the door at the HOG.

Its a 2001 Yamano Custom Authentic R8 that was originally Icedtea and has faded to a nice lemon drop.I thought it would be cool to add to my collection. What a blast from the past.

Great run of guitars with Grover tuners and Burstbucker 2 & 3 pickups. Color doesn't really look faded as they were done as Butterscotch not Iced Tea.

Sure Michael, great looking guitar! They had some pretty big necks. Very consistent run of guitars and many of them sounded really nice. I've probably had about 50 of the run over the years.

Very nice Michael! Enjoy it in good health.

2001 is one of my favorite years. I still have 3 from '01. Give me a shout when you decide to sell it. :laugh2:

Yeah, the most collectible Guitar I have ever owned was a 2001 Murphy Aged Confirmed BRW. One of 38.

Spectacular Maple Top, Color & it weigh about 8lbs 5ozs.

Just goes to show the year is irrelevant if it is a good Guitar.

    :cheers2:

Those 2001 Custom Authentics were a great run! As Mark said with the Grovers and ungotten burst buckers 2 and 3 although those pickups may have been changed as they had covers,,,in fact that guitar looks very very familiar and may have been through my hands at one point!
