Super stoked about this one! It's a late 2000's Yamaha SA503 TVL. Signature guitar made for Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen. I remember seeing these when they came out, always wanted one. They're pretty tough to come by nowadays.

The previous owner installed a bone nut and swapped out the bridge P90 for a TV Jones P-90 sized humbucker (not sure of the exact model). With the unique switching setup there's so many tones available. The rear three-way switch is your normal 3 way, switches between neck pickup, neck and bridge, and bridge. The forward three-way switch controls the middle pickup. Up is off, middle is combined with whatever the other 3 way is set at, and down is middle pickup only. I'm really digging these simple yet incredibly useful controls. 3 volume and 1 master tone control.

They pickups all sound really great and I'm loving how this one plays. Bigsby works great and stays in tune with fairly heavy use. I really love the wine-red finish, almost looks black in some lighting.

I used to buy bone for nuts from a small violin shop in Anchorage. He had a white 12 string very like that hanging on the wall i asked to try out. No go. He politely told me it was his, and not for sale.
I've never seen another like it.
