A vintage Custom is on my short list of guitars I WILL own someday. I prefer nickel to gold for the pups and hardware, but yours is an absolute beauty. Congrats.

I agree, but with thousands of these made during this period there has to be more of these out there. I was toying with the idea it was Kalamazoo made but I seriously doubt that, and I don't think it would have made a difference. I have ran across a few light Standards but never Customs. At any rate I am glad I checked it out and grabbed it.
