I couldn't be more excited to finally own my first vintage Les Paul! After learning so much about them over the last few years and talking to so many awesome people on here, I finally pulled the trigger. Without further ado...here she is, an original early-mid 1955 Goldie! After first laying hands on her I realize why everyone speaks so highly of these vintage Les Pauls. My apartment now smells like 60 year old wood, and I can't keep my hands off her! Thanks to a fellow forum member who used to own this: This '55 was owned by a London musician who had bought the guitar in Russia in 1978 and owned it for close to 40 years before it made its way to the States in 2016. I'm super glad to know the history of this now! Keep on rockin' everyone!
