I'm really excited about this guitar - being a friend of Mike's makes it very special, along with the original guitars history & this being a TH as well. This is #25

    Nice.

Stripe is yet to come, so its not the last CC.

Stripe is the 59 that Gary Moore ended up with, after Ronnie Montrose gave it away:rofl:

Damn that's nice. Since you know Mike, how does it compare to the original?

rclausen - i was very fortunate that Mike was with me when I unpacked the guitar. He says the guitar reminds him of the original in several ways. One day I hope to see the original.

jamman - the guitar is CC#31 - a True Historic - weighs 8.3. The cases are Calton Cases made in Austin Tx. They are terrific IMO - this guitar and another LP and a couple of acoustics I have are in them.

Thanks gentlemen for checking this out!

What is your grade on this run having settled in with it for a few weeks? I'm thinking of possibly getting one at the end of the year or early next, providing the gods are friendly. I found one at my local shop. I love the neck, weight, and overall resonant bite - and the top is nothing to sneeze at either. I'm definitely in the market for another LP as a companion piece, but it has to be up to snuff with my other (profile pic). I love LP's, but I'm not in the market to build a collection.

I've used it a good bit - done some Lexington Lab Band work with it that i will post eventually. I'm still in the honeymoon period for sure - had big hopes for this guitar and it's more than met expectations.

Mine is 8.3 - love the burst and aging, the pups sound killer to me and it plays perfect. I had a local luthier to lower the nut slots to match my JPerry LP and they play very similar. I honestly have nothing negative or concerning to say about mine. I've gotten the opportunity to play #1 and the prototype and #38 in Chicago - all killer. It's exactly what i was looking for. Here'a recent pick - agree top is nothing to sneeze at.
