Hi everyone! Yesterday I've bought my second Greco Les Paul, an early 80's Eg450 Super Real Model. It sounds very good! It has a 2 piece back and a 3 piece solid top. The strange thing is that every Eg450 i saw on the internet is a Super Power model and this one is a Super Real. Is this guitar rare? I hope you guys know more about It.

Looks like a transitional '81- '82 model. Some features of the mint collection series and some (like the neck) from the super real series.

That is a 1982 EG59-45 model and they are decent guitars. Very different from the EG-450 hollow-body model of the Super real 1980-81 era. They used the "450" sticker on the 1982 models which is a bit confusing. In the 1982 catalog the LPs all had "Super Real" on the headstocks but this ended midway through 1982 for some reason.

Is there a serial on yours? If there is, do you mind me asking what it is? I understand if you want to omit the last digit, but my EG-59-850 from 1982 is a transition model and has a pretty low serial, so I'd like to see how far through the serial range they removed the 'Super Real model' from the headstock, as mine has it. My serial is '2 009X'

Thank you for all the information! I am very happy with the guitar. It has indeed the 450 sticker which makes it confusing. Well I dont like to post serial numbers on the internet but I can tell you it isn't a low number at all.
