This was a guitar that I added to my regular search list about a year ago. Finally broke down and snagged one and I'm really glad I did. I love LP's and 335's and this sits in that middle ground between them both. It's heavier, like a LP, but not obnoxiously so. I don't have an issue with the size of a 335, but the size of this body (slightly smaller than a 335) just seems perfect. It has a 60's slim neck, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it seems to be on the larger side vs some others that have had this neck shape. Pickups are Burstbucker 1/2. Because I can't just leave things alone, I'm planning some mods already. I fell in love with the look (and sound) of this particular Midtown Custom, played by Greg of Greg's Guitars, that had the chrome hardware swapped for aged gold and had lightly aged binding. I'm going with gold Grover Rotomatic Keystones, gold Duncan Antiquity humbuckers and a gold Bigsby B6 with gold Towner Bar. I also have a set of gold reflector knobs like shown in the pic.
