    Nice man, happy NGD!
    Those look outstanding!
Any pics next to a 335?

I personally don't have any, but I took this off the net.... poor quality but the only comparison I've seen:

Midtown, and a ES-333 (same body size as a 335)

This is NOT a Midtown..... seems to be an ES 339 to me

you can see the comparison on Neozecats pic in your first post

    That's definitely a 339.

Nice score...it's a superb guitar. With the pickup heights lower, you get a really woody hollowbody tone and with the pickups higher you get more LP snarl. VERY sensitive to pickup heights.

I loved mine, but had to sell to help pay off my car....

HNGD, Never actually got around to playing a custom, I tried a Standard and was about to try a custom when they announced the P-90 versions and seeing as I didn't have a P-90 equipped guitar that just won me over.

I really like the Midtown series now though, at first I was really put off by the flat tops but then I tried the standard and was really impressed by it.

Gibson seem to be coming out with loads of great guitars at the minute which aren't impossible for the average person to buy with a little saving, I like it :)

Ooops... my apologies. After sorting through dozens of pics, I confused them.

In that case I can't find any for a comparison... maybe somebody else can.

The GB10 is full hollow, but as a betting man ;) I predict there are more similarities than differences between the two, especially amplified with a little dirt. We shall see. :hmm:

Here is a (borrowed) pic of a Midtown Custom Ebony, like mine and others here, that has a fake Bigsby on it.... a figsby they called it. I'm loving the look, also the switching of the control knobs to reflectors.

    I second this statement :applause:

The idea of having another black Midtown Custom with P94 in it
    grows in my mind....

You stole it from me

    Welcome to the Club

Here a new pic. I did now put a Bigsby but in order to reverse it, I used a Towner bar :

It also cover the hole. It's like a B7 in two parts

I like the bigsby a lot. How difficult was it to put on? Drilling?

Very easy to put it. No drill on the top.
You attach it with the screw of the strap button and then whether you drill two small hole for the two other little screw whether you use some kind of little plate like the one in the vibramate kit. With the second choice, you won't have to drill at all.
And of course use a Towner bar.

I did personnally choose to drill the two small hole near the strap button hole.
