EDIT: NOW it is a NGD :)
    FGN LS30
    German link:
    http://www.fgnguitars.de/serienuebersicht-gitarren-baesse/neo-classic-ls/ls30.html

It is by far the best LP I have ever played. Compared with my LC20, it has a warmer tone and the neck profile is thicker, what I do like. Weight is the same, 4.1Kg. And it just looks awesome.
Review, maybe I will do one day...but sincerely, I am not too much into technical or small details. I just played it and it sounds/feel amazing :)
Here the photos for those who want to see a beauty.

Well, does any of you around here own one of these? Opinions/thoughts?
I am planning to buy it... I tested one last week and it was amazing, stunning.
The neck profile is quite thicker than the one my LC20 has, but still really pleasant to play.

They are available in stock in several online stores in Germany, so I will test more :)

If my LC20 is any indication on the quality of the craftsmanship of this guitar, then I sure as hell know where the money for my next LP is going.

I really didn't need to see that. What's kept me from the FGN LS models is the veneer top. Looks like this one takes care of that. The beefy neck is a plus for me. I like the necks on all of my FGN guitars, but a beefier one would be preferable.

I currently own 5 FGN/History guitars and wouldn't hesitate picking up an LS30 given the opportunity.

Do any of these models have a slim taper (60's) neck?

it's more like which FGN guitar doesn't haha. My NCLC-20 has a slimmer neck AND a flatter radius, definitely not 12"
I haven't tried any other NCLC or NLC FGN but it is something worth keeping in mind.

The increased flatness makes it hard for me to play at times but it still feels like a VERY well made guitar and I do like a bit of feistiness :dude:

I would agree with this. All 6 of my Fujigen/FGN/History guitars have a 60's like slim neck. I prefer a little bigger neck, but find these an ease and joy to play.

About the neck, it is true they have the 60's slim neck, but the LS30 has a thicker one. It is slightly thicker than the one the LC20 has. It is barely noticeable, but it is there :)

Is it a C or D profile slim taper?

It is a 'beefy' C-Type neck, 1958-style (according to the German website)

Außerdem kommt das satte C-Halsprofil zum Einsatz, was alle Freunde des 1958er Style freuen dürfte.

I guess that's bigger than the regular C

The difference in thickness between a 60's slimtaper and what FGN does is only very marginal. If you like the slimtaper neck, then it'll definitely feel familiar.

    The neck on the LS-30
is more than a bit thicker than on the 10/20 models
it is similar to the Oliver Hartmann signature guitar

I wish they would make an NLC300 model, with a proper beefy neck, which would be more accurate to the 57 LPC they are basing the NLC off of.

Looks fantastic. I really love the natural look on the back. Happy NGD. By the way does it came with the hardcase ?

I wasn't referring to shape. I was referring to thickness.

And in all fairness, I've played many Gibsons that are supposed to have Slimtaper D's that were in reality a lot more like C's. So from my pov, a lot of Slimtaper D's are only D's in name, and not by nature.

Really I just wish they came with a proper case no matter where you buy them from. I'd be more than happy to pay extra.
