Just picked this up used, but in like new condition. I have wanted a 339 for a while now, so i snapped this up. I found an open box hard case for it and got that at a good price. Overall a great little guitar.

Thanks. The case came today so now my new guitar is protected while not being played.

Yes, they're nice guitars. I had an Epi Casino Coupe for a while, which is also a 339 slimline with P90s, but in retrospect I like the P90 Pro semi-hollow better.

    HNGD!

Thanks! I've always wanted a semi-hollow body and just bought it as soon as I saw it. I figured that I could always change pickups out if needed, but it sounds great as is. I've got a tusq nut coming for it-should solve the only problem I'm having, which is a bit of binding in the plastic nut.

I agree about the stock pickups. I've never had p90s before, but I love these pickups. Have you left the stock bridge? I read that the locktone bridge and tailpiece is good.

I really don't see a need for any mods on mine. Holds tune really well, intonated properly. I do get a bit of binding at the nut on the G, but nothing I can't live with. A bit of graphite would probably clear that right up.

I just love the tone, it sounds amazing through my Peavey Classic 20 mini head and matching cab.

    Here's a shot of mine.

Yeah, I'm really not having too bad of a problem with the nut (I use graphite out of a tube), but tusq is a pretty easy install and graph tech came out with the 6061 version for the 2014 and up epiphone so I thought I'd try one. I am playing mine through my '94 Peavey Classic 20 that I've had since new. Love the tone of both amp and guitar!

I'm thinking I need to go check my closet and make sure mine's still there.
You didn't buy it from a middle aged housewife in Texas did you?????

Cool piece and great bang for the buck.

Never fear, I got it from GC in Denton, TX. We were visiting family and stopped by to "look". These pro model Epiphones are great guitars. They don't need any mods, but I wonder if that will stop me......

I'll let you know. I just received it from Graph Tech today. It is the new PQL-6061-00 for epiphones 2014 and up.

I got the tusq nut installed. Stopped sanding just in time. Note fretted at third fret, first string tiny gap above first fret and bit more gap at low E fretted at third fret. No buzzing or issues so far.
