Yours doesn't have a serial number? No double ring pegs. And yours has the later style inlays, too. Interesting. Is yours a solid top? One piece back? Must be one of the later batches.

Double ringed tuners...2 rings at the base of the tulip instead of 1 like the pic above.

Mine was listed as 9.2 lbs but I haven't weighed it yet. It feels to me like it is around that weight.

Yes, but I think at a later date they stopped putting serial numbers and celuloid/MOP style inlays on them.

So I am surmising that yours is a E-LP-80S and wulfs and koiz's are E-LP-70.

    Here's the koiz dudes again,

wulf, finally got around to taking some pics inside the pick-up cavities ... still no serial number or model number anywhere on mine - make me wonder if mine is a prototype?

Thans Cap'n, that tenon joint looks super tight like all Edwards/Navigators I have seen. I have never seen one like yours so it is a bit of a mystery. Was yours a 1-pc back?

I don't know how I missed this thread. I've got another one coming that I believe is from the old old batch of prototypes. I have 2 others and they have 1983 pots in them. All the others I have like yours are from 1989 by pots and serial. This one has a serial, but the font is different. Maybe 16, January 1982? I will dissect when I get it.
