Picked this up off of reverb for less than an american standard fender, after falling in love with the finish. I'm glad I took a chance. Its called "worn fence post" and it has a texture to it just like it looks. The pickguard, knobs, and bridge are all custom fabricated by Luxxtone. The body is Ash, and the neck is a flammy 9.5-12 compound. Stainless Steel frets. It feels like your favorite jeans in your hands, broken in but not beat up. So far I really like the Fralin split blues coils, particularly in the center position as it can get really quacky! Neck shape and carve is really nice going from slightly chunky and round to a bit flatter at the upper frets. Very pleasantly surprised at how nice it is. I don't usually take a chance with boutique guitars. I'm not sure if its good or bad, but the swamp ash body and overall guitar is impressively light. I had never heard of Luxxtone previously, but started checking them out after I found this particular piece.
