    Two things.............please lose the sticker. :slap: :D

    Second, James Bond approves. Always loved the look of a good Lester in a Tux.

    :wow: :wow: :wow: :thumbs: :applause: :applause:

    That is a beautiful Custom. It's the one primary Les Paul model I've never owned, but it is on my radar. Glad to see you found a beauty!

    well.. maybe some gold strap locks as long as you use a white felt washer with it. Very classy guitar, almost makes you want to dress up when you play her... like a tux

    One interesting thing;

    did you guys noticed that all these new Custom Shop, limited editions, which are using the Nashville, they all have the saddles aligned? I did, and I never managed to understand why, until today. :)

    They seems have reduced the angle of the bridge, pivoting on the treble side post, so that now the ideal intonation does happen with all saddles aligned. Distance now it's average 5mm more on the bass side, and basically the same as before on the treble side. This is also allowing the Tailpiece to be bottom down.

    This is something you can see in ALL 2016/2017 Custom Shop using Nashville. :)

    Mighty fine condition for a custom that old. How are the gold parts hardly tarnished?

    Really nice guitar I mean look at it, Stunning. Shouldn't this guitar have an Ebony fingerboard? Only 300 of them and a one piece body, why not Ebony. I don't know much about Richlite I was under the impression customs got Ebony.

    I got it this year. Before me, I think it was barely played. No playing marks on the body or hardware, just a few scratches on the still-installed pickguard plastic protective sheet. I need to make a thread about this guitar some time. I wish I knew the full back-story on it.

    First off, HNGD! Next, with the mentioning of a "one piece body" are you saying that the body is all mahogany, like some of the earliest black Les Paul Customs? There's been a lot of debate and conjecture over the years about the possible tonal characteristics of all mahogany vs maple cap.
    Just Curious?

    Nope. I meant it's a single piece of mahogany for the back, with no relief nor multiple piece glued, plus maple cap.

    Congrats! I got mine a few weeks ago and it didn't come in anywhere near as good a shape as yours. I was not happy at first (setup issues and finish imperfections). Once I got everything sorted out and fixed, I absolutely fell in love with it. My guitar has tone for days. It seems like you feel the same way about yours. There may be something to this long-tenon thing, non-weight relief thing. I don't know for sure, but I can tell you that I couldn't be happier with the tone.
