NGD 1963 Les Paul (SG) Junior

    Been fiddling around with picking up an old junior for a while now, and it finally fulfilled my quest of owning an SG (considering I can't afford an early 50s LP Junior). She needs some work and isn't exactly what she was advertised to be, but I love her just the same. A nut swap and fret leveling is in her near future. Still have to name her too. Oh well. One thing at a time. The checking in the lacquer is what really pushed me over the edge.

    Looks cool and rock-n-rolly. Congrats!

    BTW I've seen people use them as stop-tail, ignoring the term. You might want to try it.

    Beat ya to it haha. Not a fan of vibrato systems on anything. I do think it makes the guitar look cooler though!

    Looks a lot like my '64 SG Jr. I love the look of the teaspoon vibrola arm. Really nice looking guitar. Congrats!

    Very cool jr! Neat that it still has the les paul silkscreen too. Enjoy!
