new wireing for my LP

    Was looking at Stewmac and what is better Emerson Paper-In-Oil Tone Capacitors or the orange caps?

    Depends on your definition of "better." Many people will tell you they cannot hear any difference.

    Also depend on if you use tone knobs.

    I don't.
    So for me, capacitor doesn't matter.
    All my tone shaping is done on the amp and effects.

    IMO I wouldn’t over spend for name brand new old stock caps. Just get 3$ orange drops. I use to get caught up in that hype and over spend for 50s wiring and bumble bee caps. Eh. Orange drops are just as good. I do a lot of 50s wiring for the new circuit board guitars. Unless my customer wants BB caps I just do orange drop
