Found a 2010 Les Paul Custom in an auction from a pawn shop the other day and thought -Why not it's my birthday! So I placed a bid an won the auction and claimed my prize today on my 41 birtday.

It is in good condition some fret wear wich is expected after seven years and only a single small nick in the paintjob.

Really like the three humbucker set up in this guitar.

Was thinking the pickups would need to be upgraded, but after playing it today I am liking the way it sounds!

    Thanks,

The Red SG is a Standard with P90's from last year.

Congrats on the new SG! :thumb:

    I like that model quite a bit, it's a sexy little thing........:naughty:

How's the neck on it? The ones I've played had a fairly chunky neck, felt very nice......

Thank you, it sure looks nice in the collection.

The neck is handfull for sure 50's style, but it is comfortable.

Coolest feature is the middle pup that you can blend in to fatten up the Sounds.

It do require a suede strap since it is quite unbalanced and prone to neck dive.

Heppe, you look to be a double-humbucker man.

How are you getting on with the middle pickup? Is it affecting your playing/picking at all?

    Hello Who,

The middle humbucker does not affect my picking style at all, it does not get in the way while playing. The middle adds a really cool sound, it fattens up and takes a little edge off the bridge HB sort of smoothing it out a little bit.
