The new Sheraton II PRO could be 'your' best chance...
Unfortunately I find the headstock on the Sheartons to be overly fussy and ostentatious for my taste. They also don't do them in Cherry as far as i know.
So I'd be exchanging the hassle of pickup swaps to the hassle of getting rid of the flowery inlay and refinishing the headstock
So I guess I'll wait and see
Masterfield Series : Masterfield SEMI ACOUSTIC-HP (Cherry)
Nice Idea but I can get a gibson for less and I also don't like the 339 size I played one a few weeks ago and was not wowed. If I'm going semi hollow I want the full 335 size
I'm very single minded when I get an idea in my head
I have been gassing hard for a Gretsch Electromatic 5420 for a long time. So all these new semi and full hollows coming from Epiphone are really pushing that Gretsch Gas deep into the backroom of my mind. Epi's build & QC has been really great the past few years.
The Swingster is the most 'gretschy' Epiphone....
Wow, Gibsons seem cheap in the US,
over here you can't get a good ES335 for that price...
oh the Masterfields are 15" body width...
just between 335 and 339
Actually, it was the late '60s; Phil's modified Starfire bass had one, as I beleive Crosby's Starfire 12-string did.
This pending site metality nonsense is part of why I dont post over there anymore. Why post it to a public URL if you dont want the general public to see it? And then to delete a thread and claim "inappropriate content"? So stupid. They would get more accurate results for production runs if the general public were able to view these guitars and pass it along to the retailers or Epiphone directly. Retailers arent necessarily going to correctly gauge what is going to be a good seller without input from their customers.
Doesnt matter anyway. I saved every pic that was posted. I knew this was going to happen.
Looks like Brent Hinds is getting a signature model. He's not happy with Gibson at all about it and Epiphone messed up on the color (should be silverburst)
