I have a 1985 explorer, recently bought on the bay. The previous owner stripped the original white paint and now she is 'natural'. With this process he end up taking the face of the headstock as well (Gibson logo was the gold decal and not MOP). He also did install a pickguard. I want to bring her back to life as its original glory and beauty. What i need is: - fill the pickguard holes - have the guitar refinished to antique white/aged white - have the face of the headstock in black and put back the gibson logo decal - make every effort to keep visible/readable the original serial number - no set up is needed, just the paint job. Poly is ok as this is the way these explorers were painted. I am in NY, so closer would be better but I can ship if the deal is right. Please PM if you are interested in this job with your portfolio (other jobs you did), quote and expected time for completion.
