Need help to identify a guitar

    One of the many MIJ Matsumoko branded guitars from the 70's. Not what you'd call a Chinese fake at all.

    Well, your pics are labelled Matsumoku, which it's safe to say it is.

    Not an Epiphone though. Japanese, not Chinese.

    It IS a Les Paul copy, but not a fake.

    I am really grateful guys for your help. One more question. I apologise in advance for banality of my question. What exactly does it mean that Custom code on the headstock?

    "Custom" in this case looks to be the brand. Many brands were made in that factory. Aria, Univox, etc

    Is it possible to get more information of this guitar from serial number from the plate? Or it is only just to raise the importance of the company?

    Nice one from Uncle Mats. Along the same vein as my Bradley LP. Very well built and a great player.
    I estimate the year on mine to be 1977, because that's when i got it.
