2014 Limitied Editon "Fudge Brownie" Princeton. Made in Corona, Cali. Absolutely sings. Spank and sparkle. Fantastic tremolo and reverb. You can even get a slight surf drip going on if you dig in with the reverb cranked. Got this in a straight up trade for a MIM jazzmaster I just couldn't bond with! Been going back and forth between my favorite R6 and 335 through it. Can't get a bad tone out of it.

    That's a good looking amp.

Sold my vintage BF PR and have regretted it since.

    Congrats on a great amp.

I think so, too. The jazzmaster was originally his. He wanted it back so at least he must dig it. I couldn't get it set up right. No matter what I did the high note bends would choke out. Absolutely loving this amp...

Wow that is gorgeous! Beyond a cable and a fine leather strap, everything else is bullsh@t that you don't need. Enjoy.

thanks, guys! i really am in amp heaven. i've plugged all my guitars into this thing and must say, there is something about p90s going into it. some serious ju-ju going on. sounds fat and very alive.... humbuck-chucks sound great too, but man, those p90s. aside from some light overdrive for leads, reverb and trem are the effects i use most. so i find myself just plugging straight in and forgetting about my pedals, which to me, is always a good thing.

    Super cool,
    What speaker does it have?
I have a tweed limited run PRRI that came with with a P10Q. It was great until I put an Alnico Gold 10 in it, then it became mind blowingly amazing.

Yes, it has a P10Q. That’s funny you bring up the gold 10. One of my favorite guitar players has a high end Princeton clone with a gold 10 in it. I thought I would for sure try one out in mine, but honestly, the P10Q sounds awesome..... I’m kinda of a “if it ain’t broke, don’t try and fit it” kind of guy. I would love to hear with a gold 10 though.

Wow. Those 3 and a fuzz, a boost, and a phaser and I could be done. For life.

I realize now that the Princeton has Trem/Vibrato, so I wouldn't even need the Phaser.

    Great tones on Sandman!

I've added the Princeton to my short list.

thanks. really a fun song to play. i find myself lately really digging into the old americana type stuff. chet atkins travis picking type stuff. pedal steel style licks. clean. reverb. maybe some trem. really enjoying the simplicity, yet skill to make things interesting. i had the r6 I'm playing in the video wired with an out of phase push/pull. i should record some old school out of phase jump blues stuff i've been working on too. sounds really authentic going though the princeton.
