So, my friend sold me a really Rare MIJ Epiphone Les Paul LPS-80 (according to archives)

It's new in a sense as it's my newest guitar I've purchased LOL

Anyways, it's made in 1999 in fujigen factory and it's such a beauty. The neck is quite thin and need some time getting used to but after a while it's comfortable to play

The grain of the maple cap is such a nice one... Really reminds me of those grains found in expensive furniture. Made some changes; removing pickguard and changing the toggle cap to a vintage amber one.

The speed knobs have been changed to the traditional knobs by the previous owner I believed (before my friend) and a 50's wiring had been done to this guitar. A Peter Green mod has also been done.

Acoustically it's very loud and sustain very well. Pickups in theses are Sheptone BK set which I'm considering to swap out for BurstBucker 1/2 set or '59 tribute humbuckers if I could get my hands on 1 set.

    Enjoy the images!

    Damn!:wow:

Love the top on that one. Prefer those knobs to the speed knobs, myself. She's a keeper, for sure. Great score!

Damn! I'll give you a MILLION dollars for it!

Seriously, though, if I saw that locally and had a chance to buy it I wouldn't hesitate for a second.

    Congrats!

HNGD, it looks great, I love that plain maple grain! But as Pier said, the fretboard caught my eye, impressive indeed!
