I think those 07's are great guitars. The simplicity makes them so much fun to play (that can be said for any MM).

I think the reissues sound great. I would leave it 100% original. Don't butcher that sweet little Gibson.

    I'm biased. (-:

I love the picture and the 2 little brothers you got there!
I agree,i like the guitar just the way it is.
The only thing that bothers me, is that the bridge leans forward to the direction of the freatboard.
    The studs are straight.
Does it happens to you guitars?
I've read that some people change the studs

The bridge tips forward very slightly on my 08 MM, but not that its too much of a problem.

I did swap out the bridge for a short time for a compensated one, but it sucked all the tone out of it.

I put the original chunky, heavy Gibson bridge back on, I'd rather have imperfect intonation, than lack of nice tone.

Thank you for the useful info!
I've read about the slight angle, that the wraparound bridge sits on the studs on some guitars like lp juniors or melody makers.
If it doesn't cause a structural problem or something to the guitar it's fine by me.

Those are great guitars. Don't worry about the bridge angle, just play and enjoy.

    Thank you!
I have the guitar now for a month and a half and i am very pleased.
I had it set up by a professional and it plays and sound great.
The person who did the set up must have applied some conditioner to the baked maple because it looks much darker now.
It is my first quality guitar and i think it is a decent instrument.
    I sure do recommend it.
I don't want to change anything to the guitar except maybe the knobs.
Anyway for the price, i am more than happy,so thank you Gibson
