Even a disposable camera would make them look good.

Amazing camera, considering you were snapping away at your collection of Squier Telecasters. I want one.

Best advice I could give anyone (being a tog) would be - window light, from a window that looks north.

As was the case with my avatar pic done with a 'cheap' camera (obviously not a vintage guitar).

If you get a tripod and use "auto, no flash" with some natural light it will be even nicer and just as fool proof. Beautiful guitars!

Nice...but loose the flash...Window/natural light is correct...

Or if you use outside light, never use direct sunlight. It needs to be even or "Diffuse" light, it needs to lay over the subject like a blanket, eliminating shadow or softening shadow, and not burning out the brighter (white areas)

    Natural (Window) light

    Diffused Flash

Natural Light Out Door (you can tell by the grass) Cloudy day

Hard useless late morning sunlight....bad shadow, bright burned out silver and whites, does not compliment mood or emotion....Or an example of what not to do....

Good luck with the camera and practice....
