My neighbor has a rooster...

    And it needs to disappear.

    Isn't there a law against having a rooster in the city? Well maybe this area is not considered the city.

    Who do I call to find out?

    Damn thing goes off early in the morning and all day long. Wtf? Maybe it's time to introduce the Doberman. Hmm....

    My neighbor had a rooster too, and it would crow right under my bedroom window. Well, I also had another neighbor who didn't take care of their German Shepard, and the dog spent most of her life living at my house. The dog took care of the rooster, and it wasn't my fault at all since it wasn't technically my dog ;)

    I like chickens too. I don't like roosters that cock a doodle do all day though.

    Fair enough. I split my childhood growing up between rural North Florida and military bases, so I don't even notice roosters or aircraft nowadays. :laugh2:

    I have a flock of hens but no rooster for two reasons: 1) Don't want fertilized eggs, and 2) Don't want to piss off the neighbors.

    If regulations are in place they will be in city or county ordnance. Usually there will be restrictions on number of birds allowed, how far from property line their enclosure must be, etc.

    I heard there's a HUGE Fox problem in your area.

    One of them is named Fred. LOL And he's HUGE compared to most.

    Just leave feathers in a clump near the alleged fox attack crime scene.

    Try having a hundred or so fighting roosters....they crow CONSTANTLY looking for a fight..... personally I love to hear a rooster crow.... reminds me of being a kid. A lot of places are allowing a small backyard chicken flock nowadays even in town. But most still have noise ordinances.

    I get woken up by trucks, street sweepers, drunks yelling on the street, leafblowers, jack-hammers, garbagemen throwing dumpsers around, asshole neighbours making noise on balconies at 3am.....


    A rooster?

    Meh...could be worse.
