in 1980 I picked up the body/ neck of this project from Dewey Bowen, of Bowen Brothers / Freedom Guitar, in San Diego, and slowly added and changed parts , the body only had a light sealer coat of poly, all the holes - cavities were routed The neck is a 3 piece and resembles a Norlin Eral Les, the body though was vintage style though with a thin binding in the cutaway and a nice flamed maple top body is one piece Mahogany with a chamber in the rear upper side , he had several I picked what I felt was the best of the five he had

A japanese company called "Double Eagle" imported routed and glued Les Paul body/neck combos back then, I got three from Veneman Music in Rockville Md. It could be one of those.

ah Naw LOL one its still not " Finished" its my lifetime work of ever improvement I am gonna get my name inlayed in the headstock soon, as, well, as refin , Leanin to Bourbon/Ice Tea Burst Last year I had to have the cheesey never working truss rod replaced and when my luthier guy lifted the fretboard he called me up right away to the shop , said there was something I had to see and he needed some input on possible solutions. It turns out not only is the neck glued in, four woodscrews were attached from the top down. Ironic , I always called this Franken Paul because the parts came from all over but screws in the neck made it more appropriate LOL:laugh2:
