very nice of you to do this....listening now...like most said...it's a little overwhelming after about 7 or 8 clips.......I keep putting them in order from best to my least favorite tone...as I go...but I am feeling now at around clip 10 I should start over...and download the clips.

    :)

Hi , You might want to start a new thread asking for those . This Shoot-Out is done and I won't be adding anything to it . The guitar has been sold and a few of the Pickups are also with new owners now .

And No , Nobody is going to give a beating here . So relax
BTW - Where in Brasil are you ?

That's cool man. Bahia have amazing places. Never been there personally (yet) but it's one of the greatest places around here for sure. Jimi Page has a home there also. Hey, wait, you're not him right? :slash:

Oh Crap ,Right after i finnally got all the kids out of the house , so I could have the house all to my wife and Me

Porto Seguro . As far as Page goes . I'm suprised and not at the same time he would go there . Bahia has some great beaches. I'd make a BBQ if he wants to party . As long as he brings Skol

As a newbie just joining the LPF, this information is incredibly useful. I didn't even know that boutique wound pups existed two months ago and now I'm going to go purchase my first pair.

IMHO, the more winders can work together to get your message out, the more new customers like me will be drawn in -- which will expand your market. Maybe you should think about some sort of collaborative marketing approach. (Boutique Pickup Winders Association anyone?)

Anyway, thanks for the hard work in putting this together. I may just upgrade my membership just to give something back to this community.

Welcome to the Forum and thanks for the kind words . I can say that whom ever's winders pups you buy , I believe you'll be happy with what you get . All of the offerings the Winders submitted were fine examples and you can't go wrong with any of them . It's all about what you liked more .

Of the samples, I think I liked the RD-59's the most in terms of their voicing. Nice shoot-out.
