i've got a 58 replica.it was the 1 used in the V.G. P.A.F. shootout a few years back.hands down the best LP i've owned .old growth honduran body/neck, brazzy board, sweet eastern maple top,and bursted very nice.
nitro of course.crafted by the talented hands of tony nobles
too stupid to post pics!,she has antiquties in her now ,but i've got a set of 60's pat#"S,AND A SET OF WCR x-roads as well sittin' in the box, going to swap them around and see if i can settle on the best for this guitar
if anyone can host a few pics i'll send them your way

boy that sux, i just sold a blackface deluxe reverb to fund a refin.
it wasn't pristine and i've got a few more
after seeing so many examples of daves work,i'm just going to get in line then.
    had r/s do a refin on a 2001 R 8 and wasn't too happy,although they tried.
but as i said,he got this shit down

also ,a big ol' thanks to bcrgreg
he's going to post a pic of my nobles 58 that i previously mentioned.

and as usual, 59/60 melody makers are crap, so i'm always willing to help you out .so sell them to me, you know they are worthless :naughty:

I remember this guitar when it was on sale at Capsule Music
I'd call it more of a Les Paul Style guitar. It was nice
but the neck angle was totally wrong and the top was almost flat, the bridge
almost had to sit on the body. I met the owner of it in the store once
and that's why he was selling it.

maybe not the same guitar, as this top is by no means flat,it is a 58 replica, not a 59, and has the best neck i've ever played
i sold it to jim at rt 66, and then bought it back.
i originaly bought it direct from tony

I'm sure it's the same.had a copy of VG with in and COA's
I remember the number it was easy 8 1958.
The bridge almost sat on the top..it was very flat...wrong neck angle
and too small a neck for a '58. It had a nice weight and the top has a nice flame
but I was looking for an accurate replica. Still am
