    Welcome!

Can you pull the pups and cavity cover? I'd like to see a shot inside the neck pup area and the TRC hole. Looks sharp :slash:

and if it's real, I am pretty sure you know what it's worth

One sure way to find out what it's worth is to put a PRICE on it and see if anyone pays it. If not, then lower it till someone does. Pretty simple really, unless selling guitars is completely different than selling any other commodity, i.e. guns, art, cars, jewelry...etc.

That is a damn fine Lester...and my G0 looks exactly like it, except I threw reflectors and double rings on it per later 1960.

If it is real get it appraised by Gruhn, you will have a hard time selling it for top dollar unless you have paperwork that talks about any refins, fret work, original pots/cabs, etc.

If it were me, I'd try to find out the highest price paid for one in recent times, advertise it for that much and sit on it for awhile, unless you need the money fast, then I'd stand firm at about 75-80% of that price.

I would get into contact with Joe Ganzler out there in Cali. This guy knows vintage Les Pauls like no other.

Is it a plain top or does it have some flame going from certain angles?

Current blue book value says it's worth the same as my Norlin. We can just trade straight up.:fingersx:

Talk to Joe before you do anything! I cant stress this enough. He is trusted world wide. Tom Whitrock is another contact, but I think he is in Missouri or Arkansas. Tom probably has had more vintage bursts than anyone alive! These two guys know all there is to know in this area.

Pay an appraiser and don't rely on a forum to tell you. My two cents.
