did we trade e mails already???
Is it an open forum ?
That 52/59 Mirabella Burst is one of the best looking conversions I have ever seen. Why can't I get lucky and find a top like that?
That was Cris' personal stash he was saving for himself..Believe me it took me well over a year to get my hands on it and it was n't cheap that's for sure!
Jim, Rich sent me tons of pics of this guitar when he first got it, it is just spectacular. It sounds great too.
Love the 52/57 looks deadly!
It is...killer tone...light as a feather and a nice inbetween neck too! Small deposit will hold it for you
Wasn't the last 52' you got from Chris an early unbound? I'd love to know what he had to do in that conversion.
How much is the 52-59 mirabella burst?
contact me directly....but if you're expecting this to be around $20k...as others who have contacted me thought it was...think again
You know the saying..."if you have to ask"...
I never really understood it when people said that. Who the hell doesn't ask what it costs before they buy? Just sayin'....
You have no idea how many paople ask me how much...mostly because they just want to know...a serious buyer would say send me pics...then we'll talk...you'd be shocked at how many have contacted me and thought it would only have been $15k...that's all I'm saying.
Like anyhtign else you pay for quality...this is as close to the real thing as you will EVER feel or play..EVER part is from 59' except the PUP rings..that inlcudes all screws back plastic etc etc etc
20K really???, people really thought they where that low???
They are all killer conversions!!!!
yep one guy from the boards was surprised...he thought one of the GT's was only about $15-18k
Has the Vintage Section turned into the "Business Classifieds" ??
So you think 20K isn't enough for a modified old Gibson? Conversions are just that, modified (maybe brought back from the grave, who knows and who cares) old "not-stock-anymore" guitars, aka "guitars with issues" and just because it cost you 35K to put it all together doesn't make it worth that. The "if you have to ask you couldn't afford it" lingo is usually reserved for THE REAL THING!
