Custom Axcess, right?
The Axcess model is so underappreciated
I love my R8 and R9 guitars. I literally went through dozens over 20 yrs untl I found them. I started jonesing for a historic in the 90s when they promised more accurate vintage tones and playability. But I never really found a "dog". Just guitars that I didn't get along with. I like bright alive tones as opposed to dark and Wooly. But even these two guitars could be slightly better . If I bought a guitar new I'd have it made to order. Why not get it exactly the way you want?
Yeah, it's a limited edition I think. The Axcess is really on point these days, especially with the new Apex headstock. You're spot-on, they seem to be very underappreciated which is a shame. That being said, they seem to have a very low production volume and are frightfully expensive.
How are the necks on these Axcesses compared to R0 V3 in terms of size and shape/profile?
My Axcess is one from 08; not sure if the neck is spec'd the same anymore.
I just side by side played both. My Axcess has a beefier, rounder, fuller neck than the R0 (V3).
It seems as though I am finding that I actually prefer the chunkier neck.
Custom Axcess rino 2017 has a Slim C taper.
OK, thanks; I thought I had read that Gibson had slimmed them down. Mine is far from slim
Yeah, well, at least this is what they say in the official paper. Wouldnt be surprised if its not correct LOL!; http://images.gibson.com.s3.amazona...ss/Documents/ModernLPAxcessRhino-OneSheet.pdf
I assume R0 V3 would be considered more of D a shape?
Do your own research buddy.
Fuck you, pal.
